This feature Bookcase and Cupboards with curved 'L' shaped solid Oak worktop was designed to surround an existing radiator for some clients with a large living room in Trowbridge.
The Bookshelves are of the very rigid 'Box Section' construction which enables them to easily span the width of the radiator below without sagging under the weight of the books.
The Work-surface is made of polished solid European oak and has a perforated stainless steel grill recessed into it from underneath to allow ventilation for the radiator.
The radiator case front is ventilated with a hand made solid oak trellis but is easily removeable, for radiator maintenance, by lifting it from it's strong magnetic catches.
Below the oak worktop are two double door storage cupboards, each containing an adjustable height shelf and a single door corner cupboard.
On the left-hand side of the fireplace is a Freestanding TV Unit with the television's peripheral equipment (satellite box, DVD etc.) concealed inside it.
The Bookshelves and Television Unit are painted in Farrow and Ball's "Pointing 2003".
